This Nellie lives in Bedford, Texas.  But "Nellie" is just too informal for her -- she goes by "Miss Nellie." 

Miss Nellie is a cream colored pomeranian who will turn six in April 2006.  Here's what Miss Nellie's mom has to say about her:

She is quite the tv watcher-I'd have to say that's her favorite leisure time activity. 

Although she does get very upset at a lot of commercials and quite a few programs-those with dogs, the AFLAC duck, doorbells ringing,

violence, people yelling at each other.  She comes rather unglued and abandons her usual good naturedness and starts jumping up on

our big screen tv and barking and barking!  Needless to say, we don't get to watch Animal Planet while she's awake too often-ha! 

She's not too fond of all the nature animals on PBS either.  Miss Nellie is a very good therapy dog. 

She can tell whenever I lay down with a head-ache, or am just not feeling well that day,

and immediately comes to the side of the bed to offer love and comfort. 

She then takes her place by my bed to keep an eye on me, and let me know I am loved.
